Wedding in Thailand!

Last night we where at Anna & Jerry's wedding on 

Koh Samui, Thailand.

The ceremony and reception was set up beautifully on the beach, and the bride looked stunning

with a 40's hairdo and custom made dress!!!

Now it's only 12 days until Santorini and I leave for Sweden ....... can't wait!!!!

Changing into a second dress......

Today me and Mikael went to Coral Gables to check out our new neighborhood and we went in to this cute little store "Your Sister's closet" and found the perfect 2nd dress for the wedding... Since I want to be able to dance my "Samba" on our wedding night I wanted a shorter dress to change into later.... and this is it, I am in love with it!!!!! :)

WEDDING INVITATIONS!!!

I just ordered our wedding invitations, response cards, thank you cards and table seating cards!!!!
Now I just need to start collecting addresses for all the guests :s !!!!

WEDDING CAKE!!!!!!

Shouldn't be so hard to find, but in Sweden it's almost impossible to find someone who can make an American wedding cake! In Sweden the most common cakes looks like this........

I absolutely dislike this style....a whole lot....

While browsing a bridal magazine in Sweden I saw a small but beautiful cake, with lace made in sugar paste and very realistic sugar flowers!

We found our bridesmaids dresses !!!!!!!

Coral Gables is heaven for anyone looking for wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses. There is over 10 bridal stores within minutes from each other. In beginning of February my bridesmaids flew here for a quick visit to find their perfect dress, and we found the most gorgeous once in silk chiffon!!!!! Surprisingly very affordable as well :))....They are gonna look amazing in 154 days!!!!!!

First dress fitting.....

Yesterday I had my first dress fitting of my wedding dress and surprisingly it's was a little to big :) 
But WOW, I looked gorgeous if I may say so.... I had my shoes, necklace and a birdcage style veil.
It's gonna be taken in some so i am not sure I will be able to sit.... but I will look good :)

Cant wait for July 30th now!!!!!! Jippppi!!!!!

We looked trough a good hundred different wedding photographers.. and it's hard and takes a lot of research to find one. Maybe because i do photography myself, I am extra picky too!

While browsing there was one photographer who really stood out to me, the way she captured the moments where just amazing..... Her name is Alicia Swedenborg www.aliciaswedenborg.com


I am so excited to have her as our photographer... and if there is something you should not cut down on, on your big day...it's the photographer! Your wedding day is probably the day you are gonna look the best and thats the time you really want your photos perfect...
If you think it cost to much, just hire a professional for an hour or two to get the photos of the two of you and then have an event/ mingle photographer for the rest of the evening... thats one way to cut the cost!
