Hair up or hair down...

Different loose up-do

I love the idea of a red carpet a la Hollywood up-do.... but I am not sure I would feel comfortable with it,  and I am so extremely picky I am not sure I would be completely happy and I would probably change my mind just when it was done.
You would think this is why you have the meeting before to go over hair and make up, but they only do a fast version of your bridal hair. Up do will defiantly put the focus on the dress though, that i do like! Here is some ideas from my inspiration folder!

"Messy side  bun"

Love this look, looks great with statement earrings!
I think I will be using hair and make up from Stockholmsgruppen and this (above & below)might be the 2 choices I am deciding between... Think they might have to try them both on me..
Old Hollywood glam

20's Classic elegans

Modern up-do

Again "messy side bun"

Really puts the focus on your dress and accessories

This one is for my Bridesmaids.....

Soon my awesome Bridesmaids Linda Hamnas & Linda Cadelin are coming to visit me!!!!! I am so excited!!
In the last couple of years they have become two of my closest friends and I can count on them for anything, We have been through a lot together and always helpt and supported each other..friends like that are priceless!

The reason I wanted to write something about them is also because they are coming to visit me soon in Miami.... and we have a full schedule!!! Shopping, beach, dinners, but most important finding their Bridesmaids dresses!!! What I would like them to wear and what they want to wear might not be the same though, hahaha...

The dress I love is an Alvina Valenta design in silk chiffon, absolutely stunning! But we are gonna look at a few other dresses as well..... :)
Here we are Me, Linda Hamnas & Linda Cadelin at Mondrian Hotel Miami about 2 years ago.....

Me & Hamnas at "Bajamaja" Josefina's Stockholm
Linda Hamnas: Status SINGLE
I have known her since 1997 i believe, we met through mutual friends and in 2003 we moved to Stockholm together...and moved in together (big mistake) hahaha!!! It didn't go so well living together :s But after putting that experience behind us we have had so much fun together :) And a lot of great memories. She is a sweetheart and a great friend!

Me & Cadelin

Linda Cadelin: Status: SINGLE!
We went to the same junior high School, but became friends first after high school when we studied at the Tourism Academy together and there after we stayed friends! She is an animal lover like me and adopted a Chihuahua named "Taco" from spain. She loves to Socialite and always has a sarcastic joke to tell. She is a "HAXA" either you get her or you don't!  I do!!!!! She is awesome!!!!

just noticed we are always in the same set up in photos.... Me, Hamnas and Cadelin

    Veil or no veil....

I feel like the traditional veil is a little bit boring, but it sure can be quiet beautiful on the right bride....
Now days there is so many other options with the birdcage veil, flower clips, hairband etc... here is a few ideas...
    Different style...

Classic, I like this one a lot...

    Simple & elegant

I kind of like it...the veil is detachable..

Making a statement with a large flower?

    Handmade with ostrich feathers

or if I would ever wear a traditional veil it would be something like this, I just think this one looks stunning

I also love these vintage hairpins!!!

    Wedding Flowers...

Started to look at flower ideas for me, my bridesmaids and for centerpieces and decoration with my florist Liza... and WOW... there is so many ideas out there it's going to be hard to pick and choose.
This is my favorite bouquet, very elegant but the feathers makes it more interesting

I think I have made the decision to keep it all white/ivory colored to match my dress thats ivory, but then you can do so much more to personalize it, like ad ostrich feathers, Swarowski crystals hanging from the bouquet, lace and pearls, vintage feel with an antique crystal pin.... I just love it all so I might end up having a bouquet looking like a christmas tree :)... But it's my day so who cares!

    Beautiful & simple

    Vintage feeling, love the feathers...

Different ideas how to use feathers with your flowers

    Moving in August!!!!!

In December I came across a house for sale on the internet, I emailed it for fun to Mikael describing it as my dream house....a couple of weeks later we went to look at it in Coral Gables... and WOW, It's really an amazing house. It's a French Villa built in 1926 and just recently restored...
It will be our first place as newlyweds...I am so excited, now we also have room for friends and family to come visit us!
